Apex Legends Arenas will likely draw up its curtain in the upcoming season.
With Apex Legends' mobile version reigned supreme in Mobile gaming by winning "iPhone Game of the Year" and "Google Play's Best Overall Game", the PC and console version is looking to make a big change in the upcoming season 16.
Yes, and we are talking about the Arenas right here. It was first introduced to the game in season 9, designed with the objective to provide different appeals to the battle royale title.
Many fans were eager to try out the 3v3 direct deathmatch mode. The hype died down quickly as the structure might not be optimal for the player base, plus the mode has been plagued with plenty of glitches and exploits.
Additionally, daily and weekly challenges were still giving out tasks for the lackluster mode. Since season 13, Respawn seemingly abandoned the mode as it is not getting updates and support for matchmaking or changes to the gameplay experience.
Funnily the "update" regarding the mode that we are getting after so long, is that Arenas will be removed from the game. According to insiders such as ThordanSmash and Grrt, the mode might be replaced with Control. But regardless, it should not see the light of day in season 16.
Do note that this isn't official yet, as Respawn has been silent about the new season thus far. So, do you think this could be a good cut to improve the game?
