If you have enjoyed TossGirl's interview published about one month ago, you will also like this one ! Here is a new interview of a very pretty StarCraft lady. Her name is Cassandra Ng, and she is from Singapore.
Here is a new interview, published by Carmac on GGL, and the main character is Cassandra Ng, aka PpG (picture). In this interview, she talks about her gaming experience (in particular StarCraft, a game she used to play with the nick "Powerpuff_Girl", as a Protoss player, WarCraft III, and World of Warcraft), about her life, about her experience as a Miss, and about her country, Singapore. Read more below.
Here is an extract from Cassandra "PpG" Ng's interview:
How did you get into gaming and when did you start playing competitively?
My first RTS game is "Starcraft." That was about 6 years ago.. I was having a holiday with my family in Malaysia [and] the adults were in the casino. I was underage, couldn't get into the casino, so.. feeling bored, I went to the LAN shop and got a computer. Saw the game "StarCraft" and tried it out, I love it a lot! And that was the start of my gaming passion.
Why RTS games?
I tried "CounterStrike" before. It was really fun and addictive for a long while, but eventually I got sick of it. RTS games are different. You will never get enough of it since every game is different.. there are always different strategies and different opponents etc.. so it's more interesting! You just want to keep playing! Kekeke!
Were you a gamer before you became Miss Singapore?
Yes... I was already a gamer for several years before I [got] into the finals for Miss Singapore Universe. Like I told you... although I game quite much, I was all girl at heart. It was my childhood dream to experience a beauty pageant. I wanted to know how it feels like.. and it turned out to be a good experience for me! I didn't expect myself to get into finals, but I did! I was thrilled because I even won two titles - Miss Crowning Glory (best hair and overall appearance) and Best in Swimwear. My family, friends and gaming friends supported me during the pageant, and I am so thankful!
When they asked you questions, did you tell them you're the best female player in Singapore?
Nope, I didn't. I mentioned gaming as one of my hobbies but I didn't say I was the best because there was no competition to prove that.
Shouldn't you love pets and promote global peace instead of killing things online?
Of course I love pets! I have a dog at home. It would make me sad to know that some people are being cruel to animals. Animals are helpless creatures. Gaming/killing things online is not a form of cruelty since it's not real. (I know some girls would think it's cruel to kill those creeps in "WarCraft..." because my friend's girlfriend complained about that.. kekeke!) So it's two completely different things.
