No more upsets came after GIANTS's triumph over Gambit and the Goliaths stood their ground against the Davids as W7D1 came to an end.

If Gambit vs Giants was a close enough game, such was not the case with Fnatic against aAa. The leaders of the ranking would not let anyone stand in the way of their domination and the orange-and-black quintet collapsed on the French roster with full force.

The game started off passively until a fight in the bottom river went very wrong for Giants. A leap by Kha'Zix opened the fight by immediately melting aAa's Zed, essentially amputating a large chunk of burst potential for the French. aAa's players continued to fall until four were dead, two of them slain by xPeke's Twisted Fate.

From there on, Fnatic stuck to what they do best: split push and pick only the fights they know they can win and by the 30th minute they saw the enemy nexus fall.

SK and Wolves were the first pair to get to play their 4th match-up so most fans already knew what to expect: with 3-0 in SK's favor so far, the match promised to be a cake-walk for Ocelote's squad.

Only, it wasn't. The first three kills went straight into Copenhagen Wolves and by the 40th minute the Danes were in full control of the map, getting ahead in turrets, gold and kills. Their shield-heavy composition allowed them to make aggressive plays even under turrets and for some time SK did not have the answer for that.

As the game progressed, however, this control started to slip away from Wolves. Some team fight hesitation allowed SK to crawl back into the game and this is when the danger of late-game LoL came to bite Wolves back. SK needed just one good team fight and as they got it, they were able to push in for the 4-0 against Wolves.

This was a chance for Dragonborns to prove that the signing of Dexter and YamatoCannon was a good change for the team and they almost did so as they went against Against All Authority.

DB fired off the game strong and took four kills before they could drop their first one, instilling hope in their fans that not everything is lost and the team still has its chances in the LCS.

This was only a short-lived happiness as aAa came back swiftly and made Dragonborn pay for every bad engagement, team fight or positioning. Kayle and Diana were pocketing one kill after the other, reinforced by the global gold objectives until they became unstoppable forces. They game snowballed so back that by its end, aAa were laying on a gold advantage of more than 15K, a gap way too big for Dragonborns to overcome.

Tomorrow's matches

Four more games are to be played on the second day of week 7, March 31st, starting at 15:00 CET. The playday opens with a great showdown between SK Gaming and Gambit and continues on to Wolves/aAa, Dragonborns/Giants and Wolves/Gambit.
