compLexity Gaming have had a very difficult time recently trying to reschedule their matches and have been punished because of it. compLexity gaming finally scheduled their SBHL match versus BYE to Sunday the 10th at 1pmEST, which was the same time as their HoN Tour match.
They expected that HoN Tour would be able to delay the match a little bit, seeing as both Absolute Legends and compLexity are North American teams, but unfortunately the HoN Tour admins did not allow them to move the match, forcing compLexity to play their HoN Tour match, compLexity conceded both games at fifteen minutes.
Both Absolute Legends and compLexity gaming were spamming chat and behaving inappropriately. Honcast and the HoN Tour staff were not happy with the way things went down and decided to punish both teams for the way they acted.
The final ruling is as followed
Team: compLexity Gaming
Members: bkid, Franzii, MoonMeander, Haxxeren, Riser_
Admin Ruling:
For all-chat spam, unsportsmanlike conduct and blatantly throwing the series in both games, compLexity Gaming receives 1 (one) warning and the 50% points and prize money loss will be applied for Cycle 7 (for intentionally conceding both games at 15min).
Team: Absolute Legends
Members: Kookiez, KingPlato, miesty`, Mookiez, Present23
Admin Ruling:
Absolute Legends receives 1 (one) warning for all-chat spam and unsportsmanlike conduct during the series.

We spoke with Alex "Sender" Wieker and this is what he had to say about the whole situation,
“
I think the hontour admins punishment fit the rules and ultimately it is Cols fault for this situation. However, I think any team in their situation would have done what they did. I personally hate the penalization rule for forfeits because in the end Col earned their way to the loser bracket final however a complication which was their fault takes away from their accomplishment in the tournament with prize and point deduction. Also, there has to be some fault put on the admins. Everyone in the competitive scene knew Col had a match on Sunday at hontour time. Also, everyone knew they would favor SoundBlaster Heroes League over hontour cycle 7 because they were pretty much locked for top 3. No one helped them come to a solution to where the matches could be played. To be honest why couldn't we just reschedule the finals to a later time in the day? Stay Green and Absolute Legends are NA teams and it would have worked out. It's decently a better solution content wise. Most people agree that a real forfeit on Complexitys part would have been better but that still takes away from the tournaments integrity forfeiting a loser bracket finals. In the end complexity did what they thought was best for them and I really can't fault them for it.”
