Just one month removed since the fourth consecutive DreamHack title, fnatic proved once again that they are a force in HoN winning the HoNor tournament.
Originally scheduled to conclude prior to the DreamHon festivities, the 5,000 USD HoNor tournament found its champion this week.
The duel between fnatic and Tt eSports once again took the center stage in the HoN scene, following the tremendous finals of the DreamHack tournament of both teams.
Still this match was not an exact rematch because both teams were playing with a different personal in this online final as opposed to the offline finals in Sweden.
Fnatic suffered the lost of long-time support player Jascha 'Nova' Markuse, who was replaced by former fnatic member Kalle 'Trixi' Saarinen. Tt eSports on the other side was able to play with regular members Jun 'dabeliuteef' Liong Loh and Riser_, who both could not attend the Swedish LAN due to various issues and formalities.
In the finals, fnatic was playing extremely well considering the long layoff of Trixi, who switched to full-time Dota 2 right after the DreamHack Winter 2011.
Still he and his team were able to make a lot of great plays and managed to pressure the entire team of Tt eSports so that carry player Adrian 'Era' Kryeziu could get great farm twice on the Dark Lady to take over the games in the latter portion of the maps.
Therefore the squad of fnatic.Raidcall takes home the 3,000 USD first price, followed by Tt eSports who take the 1,500 USD down under.
Completing the winner's podium is the team Ayyy Man. Right before the DreamHoN kicked off the team managed to go through the entire bracket before losing to fnatic in the winner bracket final. Still the result meant that the team clinched a top 3 spot that was secured even before the team disbanded right after DreamHack Summer 2012.
Final standings
1. fnatic – $3,000 USD
2. Tt eSports – $1,500 USD
3. Ayyy Man – $500 USD
