Team Liquid ID grabbed the second M6 World Championship slot from Indonesia after a perfect 3-0 victory over Bigetron Alpha.
Team Liquid ID swept Bigetron Alpha in the lower bracket final to grab the last slot in the M6 World Championship from MPL Indonesia. This latest confrontation between the two was a stark contrast to their previous meeting where a 3-2 thriller happened.
In Game One, things looked like a stalemate between the two teams for a while, with EMANN’s Nathan using his perfect positioning to eliminate any threat by his opponent. However, AeronnShikii just proved how he was one of the best rookies of the season with stunning Ixia gameplay to deal massive AOE damage to render EMANN’s positioning useless. The pressure proved too much for the red android and the game ended inside 16 minutes.
The second game wasn’t much different from the previous one as EMANN still believed in his Nathan. However, this time, Yehezkiel’s Eve is the main man of Team Liquid ID with his perfect usage of crowd control. The game was completed before the 14-minute mark as Team Liquid ID got the match-point advantage.
The last game was a much more straightforward match than the previous two. While the duration of the match was longer than the second game, there was not one moment in the field that Bigetron Alpha looked threatening against Team Liquid ID, with Aran being the MVP of the match. Ultimately, a 3-0 wipeout was the final scoreline with Team Liquid ID securing the final M6 World Championship slot from Indonesia.
The grand final of MPL Indonesia Season 14 will reunite RRQ Hoshi and Team Liquid ID. It will be the cavalry's last chance to enact revenge against the king of kings after their 3-2 loss. After a four-season domination by Fnatic ONIC, a new champion will crowned on the 27th of October 2024.
