A fresh name on the scene but with an experienced roster, Maycam Evolve have emerged as the brand-new power in LATAM.

The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) M6 World Championship is already underway, with 23 of the best MLBB teams from all across the world fighting to claim the lion's share of a $1 million prize pool and this year's MLBB world title. In this series, we'll be taking a look at all the teams that qualified for the Swiss Stage and their chances of becoming the 2024 MLBB world champions.

The twelfth entry in our series will feature Maycam Evolve, the latest champion from LATAM and the newest team in our list. Can they prove that age is just a number for them?

Maycam Evolve roster:

  1. Marcó Dario Maita “Markinho” Colque
  2. Juan Sebastian “AURORAA” Tello
  3. Juan Jose “Feshin” Rafael
  4. Matias Ezequiel Canaviri “Yur” Vargas
  5. “Super Nahuel”
  6. "Matt"

The youngest team in our series has already proven to be the best in Latin America. Maycam Evolve sparked a resurgence in the region by reuniting four former Imperio players with star rookie SUPER NAHUEL in their team. And while the team is very new, their players are already rich in experience, as the former Imperio players were in the M5 World Championship, albeit just in the Wildcard.

Joining the MLBB Professional League (MPL) LATAM in Season 2, Maycam Evolve didn't have the greatest start as they lost their debut match against Infinity. But they soon regained momentum, winning three of their next matches to secure a spot in the Playoffs via Swiss Stage rules. However, fans still doubted the new team because of the messy way they qualified for the Playoffs.

But all doubts were silenced when Maycam Evolve started their Playoff campaign. In the quarterfinals, they ousted the veterans of Infamous with a 3-1 victory. SUPER NAHUEL proved why he was one of the best rookies this year, as he showcased his dominance wih Lunox on the sidelane during the series.

The evolution of the new team reached its apex when they completed their revenge against Infinity in the semifinals, destroying them in a 3-0 wipeout, with AURORAA securing the MVP award in that match with his signature Yi Sun-Shin.

In the grand finals, Maycam Evolve met with the defending champion RRQ Akira in an old guard versus young blood matchup. With fans expecting a great showing from both teams, only one team performed in the end. The young bloods of Maycam Evolve completely outclassed RRQ Akira in a 4-0 rout to secure a spot in the M6 World Championship Swiss Stage and the right to call themselves the best in LATAM.
