TSM came out with a fantastic showing last week along with Vulcun where both teams 2-0'ed their competition. With both teams riding on some momentum, VUL vs TSM started with some exciting picks and bans. Vulcun started with bans directed at TSM's preferred champions. TSM then countered by choosing Zilean mid, Xin Zhao ADC, and Annie support. While the surprise was on everybody's faces, Vulcun showcased absolute professionalism and embraced such oddity. With such a strange line-up TSM had a plan to perform some crazy all-ins, unfortunately for TSM they were unable to secure such powerplay early on. Vulcun came down strong against TSM and secured 4 early kills at top lane, starting the bloodshed.

While TSM did their best to combat the deficit, Vulcun played around with TSM to forcefully engage fights whenever possible. Vulcun would constantly let Reginald's Zilean try to place the double bomb on members of the team, however whenever Regi strayed a bit far Vulcun attacked like a pack of wolves. It was a hard game for TSM, as they relied on an early victory with their team. With this win Vulcun has secured 2nd place in the LCS with a 2 game win over the third place CLG.

After two very intense games from these two teams, C9 and CLG play each other once again to break their 1-1 record. Like in game 1, C9 and CLG banned out the other team's comfort champions. C9 was also adamant about taking away Tristana from Doublelift as they did not want to deal with CLG's favorite 50+ minute-long games. C9 also strayed from some of their casual comfort picks as they chose champions that did not have high tower diving potential such as Ashe and Zyra. However these picks would pay off for them as it would be one of the primary reasons that secured C9 their victory.

CLG started with an invade that didn't do too much to either side since buffs were traded in the end. C9 throughout the game looked comfortable playing with CLG, as they continuously pressured them throughout the game. From the beginning CLG has played with their backs against the wall. With so much pressure applied, CLG just had a hard time fighting back.
