A long awaited win for ONIC Esports finally came just before the end of inter-group confrontations in Indonesia Kings Laga 2025 Week 3.
ONIC Esports finally won their first match in the Indonesia Kings Laga (IKL) Spring 2025 after they defeated Vesakha Esports in day two of Week 3, breaking a five-game losing streak. The win came thanks to inspired performances from mid laner Alex “Lexx” Phang and roamer Gilang “Falah” Dwi Falah. The inclusion of substitute jungler AZ1 also gave a breath of fresh air to ONIC's performance, as he brought the stability needed in the team.
While that first taste of victory was surely sweet, Week 3 still ended on a sour note for ONIC as they still have five losses to their name. Their fifth loss of the season against Talon ID on the first day of Week 3 ensured ONIC still sit dead last in Group Overlord just behind Mahadewa. With that said, ONIC can still rest assured that they don't have the worst record in the IKL Spring 2025. That unwanted honour goes to Alter Ego Enma, who only have one win against six losses over in Group Tyrant.

Bigetron Esports remain on top in Group Overlord
After a perfect week, Bigetron Esports solidified their position atop Group Overlord. Yong “Zhanq” Zhan Quan and his teammates swept their closest rival, Talon Esports ID, and third-placed team Mahadewa to take over as the group's top team.
To further distance themselves from Talon Esports ID, Bigetron still have two matches left against the other teams in the group before finally reaching the Cross-Group stage of the tournament, where the teams in Group Tyrant will face their counterparts in Group Overlord. Bigetron will take on Vesakha Esports and ONIC in Week 4 before finally facing Kagendra in their first Cross-Group match.
The Honor of Kings IKL Spring 2025 will continue with Week 4 on 2 May 2025. The third day of the week will be the start of the Cross-Group showdown, with Dominator Esports facing Team Nemesis for the week's opening match.
