The gangs in Kamurocho are getting sussy in Among Us with a Yakuza/Like a Dragon collaboration.
Among Us just announced a collaboration with Like a Dragon to bring in lots of limited-time cosmetics featuring beloved characters like Ichiban Kasuga, Kazuma Kiryu, Majima Goro, Ono Michio, and many more. The collaboration includes iconic costumes from the game such as Majima's disco suit, and even Ichiban's unkempt hair.
The cosmetics will be available to grab via Kamurocho Cosmicube. The new Kamurocho Cosmicube is available now for 110 Stars, and the collaboration will end on 23 June. The complete list of items that can be unlocked in the Kamurocho Cosmicube can be seen in-game or the official blog of Innersloth.
Cosmicubes are special items that have themed cosmetics and a Battle Pass-like system. Instead of levels, players can unlock a path leading to their desired cosmetics by spending Pods, which can be earned through gameplay. Unlike a battle pass that follows a linear path, Cosmicubes feature branching routes that players can take.
Among Us is a game from Innersloth that went viral back in 2020 due to many streamers and YouTubers playing it during the COVID-19 pandemic. It expands on the gameplay of social deduction games like Werewolf, where innocent players or Crewmates need to deduct the impostor while maintaining their innocence. The Impostors can win if they kill all the Crewmates. The game can be played with four or up to a maximum of fifteen players. The number of Impostor in the game rises with the number of players, up to three.
The game has recently got a 3D version that coming to PC, where players can immerse themselves in the Among Us map with a first-person camera, just like Among Us VR. The social deduction game has also announced a TV series adaptation featuring Elijah Wood and Ashley Johnson.
