Clone Rumble launches on 7 March, 2025.
Marvel Rivals is cranking up the mayhem with its newest game mode, Clone Rumble. The announcement was made on Marvel Rival’s official YouTube account on Wednesday (5 March), where an official trailer was launched.
The event kicks off on 7 March, 2025, and runs until 11 April, 2025.
Finally, through this mode, you can all be invisible together with your opponents as the Invisible Woman, or point at each other like the famous Spider-Man meme. The trailer showcased the potential of this new game mode, beginning with Mr. Fantastic in a suit. As he grows in size, he unveils four more copies of himself, marching in a straight line before launching into a wildly entertaining, almost overly synchronized brawl.
Another amusing moment sees Iron Man unleashing a Maximum Pulse on a group of Captain Americas standing in a circle, causing his attack to ricochet endlessly between their shields. The trailer also features five Groots taking over, covering the entire area with their roots.
What is Clone Rumble?
Clone Rumble forces all five members of one team to choose one hero. This team of “clones” will be going up against another team of clones and fight it out until victory is achieved by one team. This is similar to VALORANT’s replication mode and many other games with a similar limited-time game mode that involves multiples of the same character on a team.
When players queue up, everyone on the team will vote for a hero, and the most popular pick becomes the only one you can play. If there’s a tie, the game randomly selects from the chosen heroes.
Player rewards and other events
Playing the mode contributes to the completion of event challenges, unlocking in-game goodies like free skins and bundles. Players can earn rewards such as Units, nameplates, emotes, and a free Black Widow skin by participating in the event.
Players eager for free rewards can earn a new Groot skin by completing the second wave of Midnight Features quests. These challenges will have them exploring various game modes and maps while collecting Units, Chrono Tokens, and other rewards. With fresh content on the way and Season 2 approaching, excitement for the game's future continues to grow.
