The Indonesian Honor of Kings social media account has teased the support's arrival on the global server.
The Indonesian social media accounts for Honor of Kings have teased the arrival of a new hero in Sakeer (or Sang Qi in the Chinese server) on the global server. The firefly user was classified as a roamer and will be the second hero released in 2025. Honor of Kings Indonesia wrote on the announcement post, “I will bring a new story for my homeland, " insinuating that Sakeer was from a faraway land.
Sakeer looks to be a magic damage-dealing hero with some hard crowd control abilities with the fireflies he wields. He also possesses the ability to heal his teammates using the same fireflies. However, his main power is his mobility, able to move between bushes quickly while generating fireflies for him to use.
Sakeer would be hero #100 on the global server. The last roamer hero released on the server was Dyadia in September 2024. Between Dyadia and Sakeer, there were already six heroes recently released by Honor of Kings, with the latest being Arke in mid-January 2025.
Aside from teasing the new hero, Honor of Kings also celebrated the Year of The Snake with new events and a new battlefield. One of the events is called the ‘Year of the Snake Market’, where players can collect Snake Cake by completing daily and limited missions. Players can then trade Snake Cake in the market to earn Snake Coins that can be redeemed for an exclusive Legend-tier skin.
The celebration will also continue with the release of a new free skin for Di Renjie in February 2025.
