Popular open-world gacha game Wuthering Waves is coming to the PlayStation 5 very soon.
Developer Kuro Games has announced a release date for Wuthering Waves on PlayStation 5 consoles: January 2, 2025. The popular open-world gacha game will launch the day after New Year’s Day, following its current availability on iOS, Android and PC platforms.
Wuthering Waves officially launches on January 2, 2025
Kuro Games has announced that its popular gacha game Wuthering Waves is finally coming to PS5 consoles on January 2, 2025. The developer first announced that a console port of the game was in the works earlier in July this year, but this is the first time fans have received an official release date for the title.
In addition to a firm launch date, Kuro Games also confirmed that players will have their game progress synced across mobile, PC, and PS5 platforms. The release of this port coincides with the game’s big Version 2.0 update, which adds a brand-new region called Rinascita for players to explore, along with new characters and assorted content.
Wuthering Waves will be free-to-play on PS5, but a $9.99 ‘Awakening Bundle’ is now available for pre-order, consisting of the following items:
- Lustrous Tide x5
- Premium Resonance Potion x10
- Premium Energy Core x10
- Advanced Revival Inhaler x15
- Wuthercake x10
- Shell Credit x500000
Additionally players will get a few more items just for pre-ordering:
- Premium Resonance Potion x2
- Premium Energy Core x2
- Star Flakes x5
Wuthering Waves launches on PS5 on January 2, 2025.
