Genshin Impact version 5.2 is set to release two new playable characters from Natlan.
With the story of the nation of war set to reach its climax in the upcoming version 5.1, newly revealed playable characters Chasca and Ororon will seem to play pivotal roles that could lead to either Natlan’s destruction or preservation. Who are they, and what do we know about them so far? Read on to find out!
Chasca
Chasca is confirmed to wield an Anemo vision, however her weapon of choice and rarity is yet to be revealed. Although, we can assume that she will be a 5-star.
Chasca is a formidable warrior who was revealed to have an affliction that led to her being abandoned in the wild as a child, leading her to entangle herself in conflicts in her early years. However, as she grew older, Chasca gained the motivation to resolve conflict rather than cause it.
As such, Chasca is well-regarded as a Peacemaker from the Flower-Feather tribe, a tribe that has yet to be introduced in-game. She also played an integral role during our first foray into the Night Kingdom Realm, having acted as the captain of Kachina’s team during their stint in the Night Warden Wars.
With Kachina having lost her life during their time in battle, Chasca felt responsible to bring Kachina back after her Ancient Name was held hostage by the Abyss. Thus, Chasca provided the necessary support and manpower to rescue Kachina from the clutches of the Night Kingdom Realm and the Abyss, leading to her resurrection.
Ororon
Ororon is revealed to wield an Electro vision, however his weapon of choice and rarity is yet to be revealed. We can, however, assume that he will be a 4-star.
Not much is known about the mysterious Ororon, although we have our suspicions that he may be involved with the Fatui Harbinger Il Capitano.
After battling Mavuika, Il Capitano, about to receive a fatal blow, disappeared without a trace. Later on, Mavuika reveals the suspect to be a member of the Masters of the Night-Wind tribe, which Ororon is a part of.
Ororon’s voice could also be heard speaking to Capitano at the end of Natlan’s Archon Quest in version 5.0, which makes it even more possible that he is in cahoots with the Fatui. For what reasons though… well we’ll find out with the next set of Archon Quests in version 5.1!
