Charess, Vera Chimera among special guests for Capcom at Gamescom Asia 2024

Capcom has revealed their full lineup of guest appearances for Gamescom Asia 2024.

In anticipation of Gamescom Asia 2024, Capcom has announced its lineup of special guest appearances, which will include celebrated cosplayers Charess and Vera Chimera as well as a lineup of Capcom’s game directors and producers.

Charess will cosplay as Alma, the skilled Handler from Monster Hunter Wilds. Alma is the hunter’s most trusted companion, and manages monster hunt requests, permissions, and quests. Alma provides vital support and knowledge throughout the hunter’s adventures.

Charess is known for her detailed and immersive cosplays, so we’re sure she’ll do Alma great justice with her portrayal!

Vera Chimera, on the other hand, will cosplay as Gemma the skilled smithy with the Research Commission. Gemma is renowned for handling weapon and armour crafting needs, a similarity that both she and Vera share as her cosplays are sure to be exceptional and detailed.

Besides these talented cosplayers, fans attending Gamesocm Asia will also have the chance of meeting Monster Hunter Wilds producer Ryozo Tsujimoto, Street Fighter 6 director Takayuki Nakayama, and Street Fighter 6 producer Shuhei Matsumoto on the afternoon of 19 October at the gamescom asia stage. A meet and greet will occur, and fans can also play some matches on stage.

Ryozo Tsujimoto has served as the series producer for all Monster Hunter titles since 2007, having begun with the release of Monster Hunter Freedom 2. He’s also a well known Hammer main!

Takayuki Nakayama joined Capcom in 2001 as a background section designer, and contributed towards the development of numerous home console game titles throughout his career, before eventually becoming the director for Street Fighter 6.

Shuhei Matsumoto joined Capcom in 2012 and later transitioned from development human resources to become a producer. Matsumoto produced Season 3 of Street Fighter 5, as well as Street Fighter 6 and the Capcom Fighting Collection series.
