Feixiao will be the second playable Arbiter-General of the Xianzhou Alliance faction.
Honkai: Star Rail has started unveiling the new set of characters coming in version 2.5 in early September, starting with the 5-star character Feixiao. She will wield the Wind element and follow the Path of the Hunt, which means she will specialise in taking down bosses with tons of single-target damage.
Feixiao is a white-haired Foxian, the fifth playable character of this species from the Xianzhou Alliance after the 4-star characters Tingyun and Yukong as well as the 5-stars Huohuo and Jiaoqiu. Known as “The Merlin's Claw”, Feixiao is the current Arbiter-General of the Xianzhou Yaoqing. This makes her the second of the powerful Xianzhou Arbiter-Generals to become playable after the Xianzhou Luofu's Jing Yuan.
As expected of an Arbiter-General, Feixiao is skilled in all forms of martial arts and has honed herself into a supreme weapon, seen wielding a gunblade in her splash art. She is also widely respected by Xianzhou soldiers and civilians alike, even earning the moniker of “The Great General” as she carries a huge banner to rally her warriors in battle.
But Feixiao herself prefers to be called the “Lacking General”, but not for a lack of ability. Instead, she sees herself lacking in worries, regrets, and rivals – yeah, she's a badass. With that said, she does carry the burden of the Moon Rage affliction. If she were to defeat all her opponents, then the only enemy Feixiao has would be herself.
Aside from a couple of teasers and in-game references, Feixiao herself has yet to make an appearance. But we can expect her to finally enter the game's story in the upcoming version 2.4 update when the Astral Express Crew returns to the Xianzhou Luofu to participate in the Wardance Ceremony.
Feixiao will be voiced by Anairis Quinones in the game's English dub, Komatsu Mikako in the Japanese dub, Ye Zhi Qiu in the Chinese dub, and Son Jung-min in the Korean dub.
There should still be at least one more new character coming in version 2.5 revealed in the coming days. If that ends up being true, we can expect one more 5-star character as well as a 4-star.
Honkai: Star Rail version 2.5 is expected to be released in early September. But before that comes version 2.4, which will see the release of three new characters: the 5-star Physical Destruction character Yunli, the 5-star Fire Nihility character Jiaoqiu, and a new Hunt version of the 4-star character March 7th.
