We finally know when Arcane Season 2 hits Netflix next year.

Arcane launches on Netflix in November 2024
It’s clear that Riot and Arcane’s animation studio Fortiche are playing their cards close to their chest with this short 15-second teaser, but it at least confirms the series’ launch window: November 2024. The teaser follows series protagonist-turned-antagonist Jinx as she walks down a rather ominous-looking bridge. Underneath her is a reflection of her sister Vi, following her movements as the two brace for a rough reunion next season.
Sadly, that does mean another full year of waiting for fans of the animated series. Given the recent end of the 2023 actors’ strike, it’s likely that voice recording can now resume if it isn’t complete already, allowing the cast to resume their work on the series. Riot and Netflix both appear more than willing to give Fortiche Studios all the time they need to put out a second season that lives up to the first.
We know very little about Arcane Season 2 even after this announcement, but Riot has confirmed that the animated series is now a key component in League of Legends’ revamped lore. Things are being rearranged to fit the show’s official timeline, with its events now serving as critical backstory for several of the game’s Champions. We’ll likely see more Champions show up in Season 2, tying into other lore tidbits we know from the main game.
Arcane Season 1 launched on November 6, 2023, marking a two-year-long wait between seasons, which fans of game adaptations are going to have to get used to following the recent writers’ and actors’ strikes. Season 2 launches in November 2024.
