Furina cemented herself in the Genshin Impact metagame as one of the best support characters to ever be released in the game’s history.
If that’s not convincing enough, then maybe these reasons might get you to gun for Furina and/or her constellations. The former Hydro Archon may style herself as a haughty director with a penchant for being clumsy, but don’t be fooled by her seeming naivety, there’s a point as to why she became an archon in the first place!
Constant off-field Hydro application
Hydro in itself is the most flexible element that can work with almost everything in Genshin Impact. Being aligned with the element, Furina is already the best choice as the premier Hydro support for many team compositions, including the top meta defining compositions dominating endgame content like the Spiral Abyss.
Insane damage buff with burst, even at zero constellations
Furina’s crowning glory is her ability to provide massive damage buffs to your party members through her burst, although at the cost of being quite restrictive when it comes to building your party.
Since Furina’s burst, Let the People Rejoice, relies on the decrease/increase of your team members max HP to provide the DMG increase, you cannot afford to deploy a team without a healer.
However, this restriction isn’t much of a problem when your enemies easily all turn into ash with Furina’s help.
Enables any DPS to use 4-PC Marechaussee Hunter artifact set
The Marechaussee Hunter artifact set is one of the best sets you can equip your main DPS with, as it provides a considerable amount of Crit Rate increases– but only when you’re sure that Furina will be in your party.
To gain the 4-pc buff, your main DPS must have to either gain or lose HP to attain a 12% Crit Rate increase that stacks up to 3 times, amounting to a total of a whopping 36%.
Since Furina’s skill, Salon Solitaire, can both consume HP and heal your party, you’re pretty much set for success.
Flexible enough to be your main DPS
Although the current trend of Archon kits are designed to be supportive, Furina’s a formidable enough warrior to comfortably slot in as your main DPS.
Furina is easy to build as her damage relies on both Crit ratios and her Max HP, allowing you to take two build routes that can provide great DMG against your enemies. You can fully invest in building Furina to her full capability with a great Crit Ratio, or go the easy way and stack as much HP on her!
Constellations are worth the investment
If you already have Furina in your party, you might want to invest in getting some of her constellations, which are designed to exponentially increase Furina’s support capability.
Her C1 to C3 alone focuses on further buffing Furina’s burst, which will in turn provide even stronger DMG buffs for your party. Truly, Primogems will be well-spent.
Easy exploration
Admit it, after Genshin Impact released the underwater swimming mechanic exclusive to Fontaine during version 4.0, you’ve probably grown tired of exploring other areas with bodies of water that are a hassle to swim across.
Furina, however, solves this issue with her ability to walk on water when her skill is active. And since her skill CD lasts for a considerable amount of time, you can find that dashing along the surface of the seas or lakes is as easy as the rain.
