Nigma Galaxy lose two players.
After Syed "SumaiL" Hassan has been confirmed to have joined Team Aster on loan until after The International 2023, Nigma Galaxy has also announced the departure of Ammar "ATF" Al-Assaf.
ATF joined Nigma in the post-TI11 shuffle, but at the end of the second tour of the Dota Pro Circuit, he relegated to Division II. At the recently concluded Berlin Major, two of Nigma's players went on standing in for teams who were in need. While Ivan "MinD_ContRoL" Ivanov seems to be back and ready to fight once again for promotion with Nigma, SumaiL ended up going to China with Team Aster for the rest of the season.
However, Nigma will need to find two replacements as ATF has also been sent on loan. He will be joining forces with Quest Esports, formerly known as Ooredoo Thunders.
“As one of the best players in the Middle East and the world, Ammar brings us one step closer to dominating the DPC and sets us on the right path for The International," said Quest Esports upon welcoming ATF to their ranks.
ATF will be playing the Summer Tour in WEU Division I and will fight with Quest Esports for a ticket to TI12.
All teams that want to undergo roster changes have time until May 9 at 12:00:00 PDT to drop the players they want to replace. The new additions can be made until Saturday, May 13 12:00:00 PDT. So, Nigma Galaxy have about four days to announce their full line-up for the final sprint to TI12.
