Evil Geniuses and Virtus.pro join teams headed to Singapore LAN

Evil Geniuses and Virtus.pro are booking tickets to SEA for December's ONE Dota 2 Singapore World Pro Invitational.

Earlier this month it was reported that PGL partnered up with ONE Esports to create the first ONE Dota 2 Singapore World Pro Invitational which will take place in December 2019, followed by their second event to take place in Jakarta in April. 

Twelve teams will compete in Singapore at the Singapore Indoor Stadium December 20-22 for the largest slice of the $500,000 prize pool. 

Both Evil Geniuses and Virtus.pro will be on hand to compete. Evil Geniuses have not made any announcements regarding changes in their roster so far, but Virtus.pro said goodbye to Pavel "9pasha" Khvastunov after three years. There has been no word as to who will replace the Russian player or if any other changes will be made.

Prior to this Team Secret and PSG.LGD have already confirmed to be attending. LGD has already revealed there will be no changes in their current player lineup. Team Secret has yet to confirm their roster for the upcoming season.

Information regarding other teams, format, talent and ticket sales is forthcoming.

  • December 17-19, 2019: Group Stages/Playoffs
  • December 20-22, 2019: Main Event, Open to Public

Prize Pool Distribution:

  • 1st Place: US$200,000
  • 2nd Place: US$100,000
  • 3rd Place: US$60,000
  • 4th Place: US$50,000
  • 5th Place: US$30,000
  • 6th Place: US$20,000
  • 7th-8th Place: US$10,000
  • 9th-12th Place: US$5,000
