Alliance temporary shake up; Micke back, Madara stays, qojqva on leave

Alliance embraces Micke's return but holds on to Madara as qojqva will need time to treat and recover from a routine surgery.

Some might think that Alliance just can't catch a break lately with their talented midlaner being out for an extended period of time, only to return for another player to be taking a leave.

In March the Swedish organization announced that Michael  'miCKe' Nguyen would be taking time off to treat and fully heal his NTOS (Neurogenic thoracic outlet syndrome) - an issue that had been plaguing him since early 2017.

Omar 'Madara' Dabachach who last played for Vega Squadron/Team Lithium had stepped up and answered the call to fill the young player's shoes. Since then the team took an impressive third-place finish at the OGA Dota PIT Minors and qualified for ESL One Birmingham 2019.

Now it's Max 'qojqva' Bröcker's turn to take care. The German player will be taking a temporary leave for a routine surgery and is expected to return in a short while.

In the meantime, Madara will stay on board, changing hats to fill qojqva's role for ESL One Birmingham 2019 which is set to take place in just three weeks and for the EPICENTER MAJOR/Starladder Minor qualifiers for the last DPC events of the season.

Alliance Roster:
Greece Omar 'Madara' Dabachach (temporary)
Germany Max 'qojqva' Bröcker (inactive/medical)
Sweden Samuel 'Boxi' Svahn
Norway Tommy 'Taiga' Le
Sweden Aydin 'iNsania' Sarkohi
Sweden Michael  'miCKe' Nguyen
