Na'Vi and Mineski finished the group stage with being seeded into the upper brackets of the playoffs at ESL One Mumbai 2019.
The group stage of ESL One Mumbai 2019 is now over and the playoff seeds have been sorted.
Yesterday, Team Team and Keen Gaming both went through the groups undefeated to clinch a spot in the upper brackets. Today, Na'Vi and Mineski rose to the occasion to take the high road in the playoffs.
In Group A Na'Vi first rolled over compLexity —forcing the NA representatives into the last place seed of the groups. Moving onto the deciding series, TNC Predator looked primed to take the second place finish in the groups when they destroyed the Ukrainian team in just 19 minutes with a 16:2 score. In the end, Na'Vi surprised everyone with a reverse sweep over the SEA team, overwhelming them for the series victory.
Experience would reign king in Group B as The Pango crushed the hometown heroes, Signify in a two-game sweep. Although it wasn't expected that the Indian team would be able to overpower LAN veterans, the local team will be able to boast at least giving their best shot and being able to play in the playoffs of a premier LAN event — an accomplishment awarded to only a select few in the entire player base.
The CIS team then went head to head with Mineski in the deciding series. The first match was thrilling and extremely close, taking 54 minutes for Mineski to close out with the victory. The second game was also very close, at least for the first 23 minutes. Then The Pango were able to find an opening and hold on to it despite Mineski trying the hardest take it away. With the series tied 1:1 the deciding game belonged completely to Mineski starting right at the laning stage, as they ended with a significant gold lead and kill score with the 2:1 series victory.
The action resumes tomorrow, April 18th at 08:30 CEST with the first upper bracket series between Team Team and Mineski.

- Due to five teams dropping out of the event on April 10th, the format for the group stage was adapted. The playoff format will remain unchanged.
- Will be played from Aril 16-19
- Eight teams will be split into two GSL groups
- Top two teams advance to the Upper Bracket of the playoffs
- Bottom two teams advance to the Lower Bracket
