The groups have been drawn for DAC 2018 Major, separating the 16 participating teams into two groups of eight and setting the stage for some fierce matches.
Set to begin in only two days time, the competitive picture is starting to come into focus. The TI7 champions —Team Liquid and runner-up team —Newbee are set to square off against each other in Group A. DPC frontrunners and only confirmed TI8 team —Virtus.pro and DreamLeague Season 9 winners —Team Secret will battle in Group B.
Sixteen teams will compete in the DAC 2018 Major at the Oriental Sports Center in Shanghai, China from March 29 to the 7th of April with the $1,000,000 prize pool and a total of 1500 TI8 qualifying points up for grabs. The group stage will take place from the 29th until April 3rd, followed immediately by the Main Event taking place from the 4th through the 7th.

The first two rounds of the Lower bracket are Bo1, while the Grand Finals are Bo5. Others are Bo3.
