After a rather disastrous season which culminated with both of their squads failing to qualify for The International 2017, the Vici Gaming organization announced today two brand new rosters.
Both Vici Gaming and VG J shake up their ranks for the upcoming season. VG J kept only rOtK from their old lineup but he will be the team coach while VG welcome eLeVeN, Fenrir, and Paparazi to their team.
Vici Gaming:
The two legends Chen 'Hao' Zhihao and Wong 'ChuaN' Hock Chuan were dropped from the main squad, along with Xu 'Hym' Zhi who was announced yesterday to have joined EHOME already. VG’s offlaner Zhou 'Yang' Haiyang was also transferred, but to the VG J squad, which leaves the main team only with the young Zeng 'Ori' Jiaoyang.
Joining him are IG Vitality’s carry Zhang 'Paparazi' Chengjun, two EHOME players who are actually rented by VG for this upcoming season, namely Ren 'eLeVeN' Yangwei, Zhang 'LaNm' Zhicheng and Lu 'Fenrir' Chao who got transferred from VG J to the main team now.

Same with the main squad, VG J kept only one player from the old roster, namely their captain and drafter, and Chinese veteran Bai 'rOtK' Fan. However, rOtK will be stepping down from an active role to coach the new VG J team. The only veteran who will be actively playing and in fact carrying the team through the new season is none other than Liu 'Sylar' Jiajun, third place finalist at TI5 with LGD, runner up at TI4 with VG and runner up at TI2 with LGD. He will be joined by four youngsters at VG J, three of them transferred from Vici Gaming Potential and one from the main squad.

While no word was said on where or if Hao and Chuan will continue to play this season, according to VG’s tweet about the entire transfer process regarding their teams, the former VG J carry Sun 'Agressif' Zheng is headed to the main team of FTD.
