Originally Team Empire was going to go in place of Virtus.Pro, but due to siginificant roster changes ended up having to cancel their participation.
Empire was the only team in any of the divisions to not lose a single match, ending 9-0 after all their games were played. Team Tinker came relatively close, with 8-1, but forfeited one of their matches due to fatigue.
In phase two, the teams will play in a round-robin bo2 format to decide who advances to DreamHack Winter 2014. The two best teams from Phase 2 will proceed to the second stage of DHW, whereas places 3-6 will have to battle it out on the first day of the LAN event to decide who continues on and who won't.
