BeyondtheSummit will be hosting The Inaugural, a $3,000 tournament which will involve Korean and Southeast-Asian teams. It will consist of several stages such as a pre-qualifier, a play-in and a group stage, with the winning team also getting an invite into The Summit Asia.
The tournament is BTS's move to "return to (their) roots and give back to the community where it all began". It will be a multi-stage tournament, which will include a pre-qualifier, a play-in period, a group stage and the main event.
The pre-qualifier is a four and eight-team single-eliminatuion tournament for Korea and Southeast Asia respectively. The games will be best-of-one, except for the finals which will be best-of-three. The winning team of the pre-qualifiers will advance and join for other teams into the play-in stage, which is a series of knockout matches to determine the teams joining the seeded teams into the group stage. The teams joining the pre-qualifiers are not yet announced.

The eight teams into the next stage will be split into two groups of four, and they will fight compete each other in a round-robin tournament. The top two teams after the groups will advance into a best-of-five, single elimination playoffs. The champion of this tournament will not only get the lion's share of the pot, but will also get an invite into The Summit Asia.

There is no date yet as to when the tournament will start, but GosuGamers was told that it will be around ten days from now.
The Summit Asia is the Asian qualifiers for The Summit. The Summit is BTS' first LAN event, scheduled 5-8 June, and it will have at least a $50,000 prize pool. The two invited teams who have confirmed are Ukraine's Natus Vincere and China's team DK. The Summit will also have an American and European qualifier.
