The Vietnamese team StarsBoba could take home yet another title when defeating a Mongolian and an Uzbek team to win the Asian Indoor Games 2009.

With top Vietnamese players as Soso. On, MangaeQ, David21, Ke3concuHT, Hamchoi and Icemage we have seen StarsBoba dominate the Asian scene, with first place achievements in Asian DotA Championship (2008), World Cyber Games Asia (2009) and a couple of days ago the Asian Indoor Games.

The low participation count is because of a nation is only allowed to join a limited number of games. Due to this the teams send players that can actually win a medal.

Mongolia, Uzbekistan and Vietnam (represented by StarsBoba) played eachother, and the best two teams faced off in the finals. StarsBoba was able to win by a 2-1 score over the unknown Mongolian team.

The event is taking place in Hanoi, Vietnam and is sanctioned by the Asian Olympic Council. It is a tournament for competitions that are played indoors, such as chess, billiards and most notably eSports. eSports was included in 2007, but back then only FIFA, NBA Live and Need for Speed.

eSport games this year includes DotA, StarCraft, Counter-Strike, FIFA, Need for Speed, and NBA Live.
