The ESEA Season 23 Global Challenge will begin on 5 January, with the ESEA Premier finals for both Europe and North America.
The finalists of Premier season 23 will kickoff the event, playing for a spot in the ESL Pro League Season 5. The winners of the two matches will qualify for ESL Pro League Season 5, while the losers will be paired against PENTA Esports and Splyce, both awaiting opponents through ESL Pro League Season 4 Relegation.Â

Along with determining the matches against the relegated teams from EPL Season 4, the winners/losers of the opening matches will finish off the groups for the Global Challenge, with the winner of the European Premier finals being placed in the same group as the loser of the North American Premier finals, and the other two being placed in the same fashion.
With the groups of the Global Challenge set, the event will take place from January 6th-8th, with the following groups:

A couple notes the make about the event:
TSM will be performing with Kory "SEMPHIS" Friesen and Pujan "FNS" Mehta, due to the effect of roster lock.
Also, VG.CyberZen and BigGods were to both be a part of the rosters in attendance, but were blocked by VISA issues, thus being replaced by Rogue and Muffin Lightning.
