The Danes have had a clean run through this event so far, and their semifinals match against Virtus.Pro was no exception. The first map, de_inferno, looked promising for VP initially on their CT side; the team had no problem locking down both sites and managing secure a strong 11:4 half lead. Their momentum didn't carry over to the T side however, where TSM showed off their famous CT prowess across the map which allowed them to win the map 16:12.
de_train was a much closer affair, as Virtus.Pro has had great results on the map at recent events which gave them the extra edge against their opponents. As on Inferno, the Poles had a demanding lead in the first half, taking it 8:7 on the less-favored terrorist side of the map with an impressive performance from Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas who made several key round-winning plays. The team fell short once again though, making a comeback to 14:14 after several lost rounds only to just miss the mark, allowing TSM to take the map and series 16:14.
Team SoloMid has moved on to the grandfinals, where they will wait to battle it out with the winner of the lowerbracket final, Virtus.Pro versus Fnatic, in a best-of-five series.
