Virtus.pro have won Copenhagen Games 2015 following a 2-0 victory over Team SoloMid.
The first match of the BO3 Grand Finals was on de_cobblestone, where Virtus.pro started off strong on the less favoured T side of the map, scalvaging the preliminary pistol round as well as 4 more following rounds making it 5-0. However, TSM managed to mount a slight comeback, winning 4 rounds of their own compared to VP's 1 at 6-4 still in favour of the Poles. It was full speed ahead for VP then as they completely dominated the rest of the half, eventually ending it at 11-4 after forcing countless eco rounds from TSM. The second half saw TSM picking up the pistol round as well as two more following anti-eco rounds, begining to mount a slight comeback. Despite losing one more round to VP afterwards, TSM still snowballed a decent comeback eventually bringing it to 14-14, however, they eventually choked at the end and lost the first map 16-14.Â
The second match was de_inferno, where we saw Virtus.pro again coming out in a strong lead, managing to win round after round on the CT side. However, their side was not without flaws, as a failure to buy a defuse kit by on one of the Poles allowed TSM to win an eco round. In the end, the halftime score was 11-4, after a great clutch by neo allowed for a defuse coming down to the wire. In the second half, it seemed like another repeat of the previous map, and TSM managed to bring it to 13-10. Unfortunately for TSM, they choked yet again and lost 16-10.
