ESEA caster and MLG X Games director Corey Dunn has announced that he will be retiring from competitive CS:GO casting.
The veteran CS:GO shoutcaster has been casting for over 10 years now, with notable experience at a variety of organizations including ESEA, DreamHack, and ESWC. However, Dunn received heavy criticism from the community at his previous LAN event, the ESEA Season 17 finals, with many saying that the caster had lost his passion for the game.
I've shoutcasted for 10 years, over 20 different games, all over the world, & with amazing cocasters/friends. It's time to end that chapter.

It now appears that Dunn has decided to retire from casting to instead focus on tournament and live stream directing, citing MLG X Games as one of the sucessful tournaments that he directed.
This does not mean I'm done with eSports. I will completely transition from shoutcaster to director. MLG XGames was a sample of me directing
