The organizers of CPH Games have released more information on the format of upcoming Copenhagen Games, the largest eSports event in Denmark.
The information provided is limited but already allows us to have an overview of the format of the CS:GO tournament that will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark, from April 1-5. The prize pool has yet to be announced.
The tournament will see a total of 64 teams distributed into the groups of four. The teams with the best results in each group will move on to a new group stage, followed by the playoffs, where they will face 16 teams invited by the organizers.
The playoffs will feature a double-elimination bracket with best-of-three matches. This tournament will be a great chance for underdog teams since they will have a chance to join invited teams, and prove themselves among some of the best teams in the world.
