This weekend the ASSEMBLY Winter 2008 event will start in Tampere, Finland with a € 1200 worth prize pool. Among the participants are Finland's top players Satiini, Elfittaja and SeiN.
Finland's largest computer festival will commence this weekend where this year’s Winter edition will have an expected amount of up to 1080 participants.The Tampere Exhibition and Sport Center, located in the third largest city in Finland, will see 5 of the best Finnish players compete for first place which grants € 750 worth of Hardware and Cash. Second place will get € 300 and the third place € 150 worth of Hardware.
Among the participants are Finnish National team players; SeiN, Elfittaja and Satiini. The other 2 players are Zachu and kapsaN.
The groupstage will be round-robin and will move into a single elimination stage with the four players who collected the most points in the group. Losers of the single elimination brackets will play the bronze final match and the winners will play the Grand finals on Sunday, 19:00 CET.
