After four great days in Texas, the WarCraft 3 tournament in CPL Summer 2005 is over. The Grand final stood between 4K.ToD and mTw.DIDI8 in a three set match. DIDI8 was close to winning, taking the first set, but ToD managed to win the last set and was crowned the CPL Summer 2005 champion!
Taking place on the same dates as the ESWC Grand Final in Paris, the Cyberathlete Extreme Summer Championships 2005 was hosted in the Gaylord Texan resort. 32 players [26 from the USA] were to fight for four days for money and glory. The first prize was $6,000 USD, which surely was something to strive for. In the Longhorn Exhibit halls, the tournament went on, with WarCraft as the only RTS game, surrouded by various FPS games.4K.ToD wins over mTw.DIDI8 and wins CPL

4K.ToD started in the bottom of the bracket, and made it all the way to the end. In the Winner Bracket final he faced 
SK.ElakeDuck (#5) and won 2-0, and was ready for the Grand Final, waiting for the Loser Bracket matches to be over with. There, 
mTw-DIDI8 came out victorious, and was up against ToD on the big screen in a three set best of three series, where ToD was in the lead 1-0 as the came from Winner Bracket. The first set ended 2-1 in favour for the Bulgarian, but the final set was won by the French player, also 2-1.
