Kwun Soo "Orion" Hyun of CJ Entus made sure the gold remained Korean after he comfortably defeated Luo "Legend" Xian in the best of five final.
CJ Entus Zerg player Orion had no trouble winning the first two games played out on Medusa and Sin Chupung-Ryeong. He looked shamelessly ahead in strategy and macromanagement, which gave him a comfortable start in the series.

Orion played home 8,500 Euros for ending first and therefore also claimed his first tournament title. And while Orion gained more fame in the international scene, his PGL win do not seem to have made a mark on the Korean radar. No news as of yet can be found on the most known StarCraft website Fomos.
Legend ends in second place. Photo by: MyPGL.com
Legend, used to and most likely sick of ending in second place, is given approximately 4,300 Euros for his runner-up spot. The Protoss sensation can place his silver medal next to the gold from 2007 as well as last season's split bronze.
