GOsia Defeats Yayba To Win WCG Poland

Polish qualifications for the Grand Finals of World Cyber Games 2009 are over. Rafal "GOsia" Kontowicz won and he wil be the one to represent his country in China in November.

GOsia is the unquestionable winner of this event, he didn't even lose a single match on today's and yesterday's road to the title. He won some prizes and the right to represent Poland at the Grand Finals in China.

In the last match GOsia met Yayba. Because he came from the winner bracket he was already one game ahead in the best of three struggle. After about 30 minutes of playing, the Final was finished with a 3:0 score for GOsia. He was very happy of being able to win this and he had to spend about 15 of the next minutes with reporters and his fans.

Yayba ended as the runner-up, while Draco was third. It was pretty surprising, because most people thought that Draco will outclass his opponents as he used to in the previous editions. From what we heard, he will also not get his prizes because he wasn't able to stay until today in Warsaw and Organizers can't send him the prizes.
