Tempo Storm have signed Untitled Spreadsheet, ANZ’s top Overwatch team.
With Overwatch expanding through the roof, Tempo Storm have announced plans to sign two rosters, with the first being from the ANZ region. Untitled Spreadsheet have dominated the ANZ scene so far, standing at 1st in the region and 11th in the world according to our rankings. A break into the top 10 may be on the cards with the recent pickup of DPS player “tjk” from The Wood Cucks, further strengthening the team in anticipation of bigger and better things at the international level.
“We are super comfortable with this roster as we have picked up not only a player (tjk) we have wanted for a long time but this also allows Gunba back on to flex where he is much more enabled to lead the team” said Philip “Redact” Pretty, team coach and manager.
“We want to show that Australia can not only keep up with the rest of the world, but beat the rest of the world and make the Temp Storm name proud.”
The signing of an Australian team is not only big news for Tempo Storm, but for the ANZ region as a whole. The Overwatch scene is expanding fast and becoming more competitive. With both JAM Gaming and Chiefs ESC, among others, all pushing for top spot, the new Tempo Storm must hit the ground running heading into Heroes League playoffs next week.
The new roster will play under their new team name next weekend in the Heroes League playoffs, on Heroesleaguetv.
