It’s time for GosuGamers Weekly NA #13! Can REUNITED get back on track, or will Luminosity run away with first place?

Event Hub

It’s that time of the week again – GosuGamers Weekly NA #13 kicks off in just a short while (19:00 CEST/13:00 EDT/10:00 PDT). A few big names are missing, most notably Cloud9 and EnVyUs, but there are still 128 teams looking to take home their share of the $500+ prize pool. Thanks to our partners Matcherino, OWKings, and Roccat, you can donate $1 to the prize pool using the code ggna13.

Teams to watch:

There are quite a few top 50 teams that have the potential to pull off an upset and take home first prize. Recently introduced Splyce Gaming, formerly Fine, I’ll Go McCree, will be looking to make a splash in their first tournament under their new sponsor. SelflessGG, Team Eggplant, and Still Here have strong rankings, but don’t have a lot matches played so experience could be an issue. Here are a few other teams to keep an eye on.

Luminosity

With Cloud9 and EnVyUS sitting out this week, Luminosity should be considered the favorite. They have wins against REUNITED and Rogue during the past week, so their confidence coming into the Weekly has to be high. Look for Luminosity to continue their hot streak early on and take advantage of playing on the NA servers if they face REUNITED or Creation eSports.

Creation eSports

Creation eSports may be the number two team coming into this Weekly after REUNITED’s struggle yesterday. They are an experienced team that has been together since early on in the beta. They are on a hot streak, winning twelve of their past fifteen games and should continue their winning ways even though they have to play on the NA servers.

SG-1

SG-1 had a strong showing in the EU Weekly yesterday, losing to the eventual first place team, Graviton Surge. They have also been strong in the month of June with 22 wins and only seven losses. Although SG-1, a European team, will have to deal with playing on NA servers they should continue their hot streak and have a strong showing.
