Predictions

In order to help you get a better understanding of the teams participating @hexagrams walks us through his predications for the weekend.

Favorites:

1. REUNITED

After an extremely solid performance last weekend which saw REUNITED win our EU Weekly over Envyus, and advanced to the semi-finals in our NA Weekly, REUNITED is the clear favorite to win yet another tournament on Saturday.  With top team Envyus not in the bracket, it would actually be an upset if REUNITED didn't win this tournament.  They've beaten every other top EU team which has signed up, including a recent 2-0 over our other favorite, Rogue.

2. Rogue

This somewhat newly formed squad was looking to come into the scene after the intial release and reestablish themselves as a dominant team, and they've done just that.  After parting ways with fragger IDDQD, Rogue is still looking to fill his role on the roster. Rogue can beat any team lesser than them, but they have not been able to topple the teams above them, including dissapointing results (0-2, 0-2, 0-2) against Cloud9, Luminosity Gaming, and REUNITED.

Challengers:

1. Creation eSports

With some of the strongest players in the game, Creation can make any series fun to watch, but time and time again they come up small in big moments against the highest competition.  They look to change that this weekend, and they have a great chance to do so as the top end of the field is somewhat thin.  No Reinhardt is playing better than Numlocked lately, and he looks to hoist the rest of the team on his veteran back and take down a tournament title for creation.

2. SG-1

My favorite wild-card of the weekend, SG-1 has beaten everyone they've faced in the last two tournaments, except for Envyus.  This team stunned onlookers as they opened up release weekend with a shocking win over REUNITED.  Hymzi, one of the first players to consistantly run a Roadhog, looks to demonstrate his hooks as the biker from the deadlock gang finds himself firmly in the meta. SG-1 appears to have found what they were missing during the beta, and are now contenders to stun any team, regardless of their ranking.
