You might be too busy playing all day on May 24th; but if you are not, maybe tune in to ThePlays' Launch Event featuring competitive matches and community figures.
Blizzard is hosting launch events all over the world, in cinemas and stadiums, but if you are unable to make it to one of those we have some good news for you:
ThePlays have taken it upon themselves to host an online launch event to celebrate Overwatch's official release with whoever wants to show up. For four hours, host JoRoSaR will be playing games, discussing the game, and casting a $1,000 invitational with the following teams:
Viewers will be able to group up and join JoRoSaR and special quests (including our own caster Hexagrams) in some Overwatch games where they can even win some awesome prizes. If you did not buy the game yet, there will also be the opportunity to win six copies (and other swag) in ThePlays' giveaways. More information on all this can be found here.
The show will start at 11:00 PST/20:00 CEST on the ThePlaysTV Twitch channel; if you want specific subjects to be covered (like tips for certain characters) then feel free to contact them on Twitter.
