With the build-up to official release, players have started moving to find their best home at a team. Unfortunately this means k1ck has lost their roster (for now).
One of the first organizations in Europe to sign a Overwatch team has to say goodbye to their roster. After a huge shakeup following the end of the first Beta Phase, the team of k1ck has officially disbanded. During the break, the team suffered three losses to their starting lineup with Timo "Taimou" Kettunen leaving for IDDQD, and Christian "quad" Sørensen as well as Nils "mztikk" Feierabend stepping back from competitive gaming due to personal reasons.
After weeks of testing out several players, the team ultimately has come to a standstill and has decided to go their separate ways.
The former roster for k1ck included:
- Timo "Taimou" Kettunen
- Michael "michr" Rosen
- Arthur "EISSFELDT" Marx
- Christian "quad" Sørensen
- Jesper "rulah" Sundell
- Nils "mztikk" Feierabend
- Patrik "nkr" Flodin (Backup)
- Jorge "kalinka" Rodriguez Ortega (Backup)
The Portuguese organization has stated, however, that they firmly believe in the success of the game and will hold their eyes open for potential teams that fit the mentality of k1ck. With the Beta opening up more and new teams forming almost on a daily basis, it might not be too long until k1ck returns to the Overwatch scene. And we hope to see their name show up in the Weekly Event registered teams list as soon as possible!
