Travis Fimmel, of Vikings fame, is one of the stars in the upcoming Warcraft film
Duncan Jones-directed Warcraft movie has finished filming and will now go to post-production, tweets the director himself. The production is still slated to launch Q1 of 2016.
The Warcraft movie - first mentioned in 2006 and which underwent a change of directors in 2013 from Sam Raimi to Duncan Jones - seems to be on the final mile. According to Jones' twitter, the filming of the movie is now complete and the crew will enter the post-production stage.
The movie itself is scheduled for theater release on March 11, 2016 after being pushed pack from the original date December 2015 due to collision with several other blockbusters such as Star Wars 7.

Little is still known about the plot of the film but in the words of actor Dominic Cooper - who joined the production in January this year - "there’s a very human story at the heart of it because there’s a few of us that are humans in it that are up against tribes and problematic issues that exist in the world that we exist in".
