World Elite take the first IEM championship at Shanghai

?
Though never drifting too far down, World Elite has been matched by other Chinese overlords in the LPL, taking vengeance and taking first here.

?

With teams like OMG, Royal Club, and iG all very dominant in the spring split of the LPL, World Elite was very pressured to retain the trust of their fans.  Once an undefeatable team worldwide following the Season 2 World Championships and rarely dropping a game in the Chinese tournaments, World Elite quickly found that other teams would catch up to their prominence within the scene.  This time around, World Elite would not bar themselves from a potential opportunity to represent their region to the world in the future World Championships.

In an astounding 2-0 fashion, World Elite would take down the powerhouses of Invictus Gaming, utilizing some champions that have boded them well in the LPL.  First and foremost, we saw World Elite's Misaya play an incredible Ahri, showing the pinnacle of skill with the champion and landing many game-changing charms as well as unpredictable movement.  While World Elite's midgame was still rather wobbly in both games of their best of 3 set, they definitely showed a strong case of knowing how to close out games. World Elite defeated iG without dropping a game.
