Two of China’s HCT finalists have just joined a new super team

JasonZhou and XHope lead a team of seasoned veterans from the Chinese Hearthstone scene.

Team One More (OM) is a new power house born in the wake of the Chinese grand shuffle. The region underwent major shifts between December and March as a total of seven teams abandoned Hearthstone, including three-times team league champions eStar and the endemic Team Celestial, founded by 2014 World Championship runner-up Xieyu “TiddlerCelestial” Wang. TongFu, World Elite, OMG and StarHorn—major esports brands in China—also embraced disbandments of their Hearthstone divisions.

Following these tumultuous times, OM have gone for the strongest free agents in China and have plenty to show for it. Jason “JasonZhou” Zhou (ex-eStar) and “XHope” (ex-World Elite)—the latter slated to play in the HCT Winter Championship and who also represented Team China in their victory over North America earlier this year—headline the newly founded OM roster, as the team is now in prime position to bank big earnings in the Bahamas.

OM’s power doesn’t end there, however. Yuxiang “Breath” Cheng Hong “Zoro” Yije both represented their former team Celestial at two separate World Championships in 2016 and 2015, respectively, while Mingyang “SleepyShaman” Ma is a bronze finalist from two Gold Series majors and finished top four in CN vs. EU Season 2, only losing to champion Aleksandr “Kolento” Malsh. Collectively, OM’s players have won more than $315,000 in their careers.

OM is by far one of the favorites for the upcoming fourth season of Hearthstone Team Story, China’s premier team league.

OM roster:

China JasonZhou
China SleepyShaman
China Breath
China Xichen
China Langweixian
China Zoro
China XHope
