What? A Rogue deck that isn’t Miracle? Is that even possible?
Turns out, it just might be. Coming from World Finals runner-up Dylan “Hotform” Mullins is a fresh iteration of Valeera, not featuring drawing the entire deck via [card]gadgetzan auctioneer[/card] and [card]conceal[/card]ing massive [card]questing adventurer[/card]s, but rather a pure midrange style of play.
There isn’t anything that’s too special about Hotform’s deck. It’s simply a combination of the best dragons and dragon synergies (including the awesome and underappreciated [card]netherspite historian[/card]) and Rogue’s signature high-tempo removals: [card]backstab[/card], [card]eviscerate[/card], [card]sap[/card] and the likes.
This is one of the few attempts to steer away from the combo-oriented Rogue lists. In the past, Rogues have tried running N’Zoth and deathrattles to try and play the minion-based games but these lists never became high-tier. With Dragon Warrior currently on the decline, it might be a good time to try the same principle on a different hero.
