We managed to record a large portion of the decklists used by Americas' top eight at the Winter Championship.
This Sunday, at the tender age of 15, Will "Amnesiac" Barton became the youngest Hearthstone major champion. But the story of his triumph has already been told, through multiple articles. What remains to be looked at are the decklists of the best players in the Americas region this season.
Control and combo was certainly the name of the game this weekend. The majority of the seven Warriors brought to the tournament ended up Elise Controls, a list gaining popularity due to its incredibly defensive nature and almost limitless amount of answers. Freeze Mages, RenoLocks and Oil Rogues were also a common sight.
Among the few non-standard decks were Amnesiac's Anyfin Paladin, a list notorious for its high skill-ceiling, as well as SkyHigh's Egg variation of the standard Secret Paladin. We even saw a good old Handlock by Talion, as well as the very, very rare Ramp Druid played by Wtybill which, unfortunately for him, could not propel him to the playoffs.
All those and more can be found below.
Amnesiac: Elise Warrior • Anyfin Paladin • Druid • Oil Rogue
Talion: Handlock • Tempo Mage
SkyHigh: Eggadin • RenoLock
Wtybill: Ramp Druid • Freeze Mage • RenoLock
Chakki: Face Shaman • Druid
Chessdude: Freeze Mage • Oil Rogue
Nostam: Druid • RenoLock • Elise Warrior
