An all-Romanian final to close Tavern Tales Spring

Local up and comer Stefan “Moody” Marinescu will face Nistor “xTrackyStyle” Gabriel for the $8,000 first place prize.

After three days of Hearthstone at the PGL studios in Bucharest, Romania, Tavern Tales Spring is ready to come to an end, and the finalists are everything but expected.

Romanian player Moody took the tournament by storm, coming through the well renowned Gregoire “Un33d” Bodin and Harald “Powder” Gimre in the playoffs, as well as defeating names like Thomas “Thefishou” Guedj and Simon “Crane” Raunholst in the swiss rounds. Moody is piloting a very solid Secrets Paladin / Zoo / Midrange Druid line-up, his chances to take the PGL crown off of Hanniballz2 looking strong.

Hailing from the bottom half of the bracket is xTrackyStyle, who’s been aggroing opponents all weekend long. While he had arguably the easier part of the bracket, the Romanian youngster has been drawing godly on his Hunter / Face Shaman / Aggrodin which got him to the last match of the tournament.

Apart from the $8,000 cheque, the winner will also pocket 15 HCT points to jumpstart his World Championship campaign.
