The tournament will start with its swiss round at noon on February 26.
Last week, a series of four open qualifiers determined the 32 players to compete in Bucharest for $25,000 and 42 HCT points as part of PGL’s Tavern Tales Spring event, their first one for 2016. While the participants are prepping their line-ups and honing their decks, PGL have revealed what the schedule for the weekend will look like.
11:00 CET on Friday marks the official start of the competition with five rounds of swiss. At the end of the day, the player pool will be cut in half and 16 will advance to the playoff round, spread over two days. The action will be brought by the casting trio of Marcin “Gnimsh” Filipowicz, Jakub “Lothar” Szygulski and Alex “Raven” Baguley on twitch.tv/pgl_hs.
