ManaLight to release its Hearthstone roster

Raven, Ness, Modernleper and BoarControl will have to search for a new home.

After less than five months in operation, ManaLight will be shutting down its Hearthstone division, GosuGamers has learned. A new name on the esports landscape, ManaLight was formed in September with a four-man roster headlined by Harald “Powder” Gimre and also hosting ex-Fnatic’s Bertil “Frezzar” Fall, Will “Modernleper” Bindloss and Juho “Ersee” Hyödynmaa but over the following months it almost completely changed its line-up. With the signings of Josh “Impact” Graham and Alex “Raven” Baguley and eventual departures of Powder, Frezzar and Ersee, the only original member currently with ManaLight is Modernleper.

Although eyes were on Assembly silver medalist Powder to best represent team’s colors, it was exactly Modernleper who brought in the best results for ML. The young Brit placed top four in both DreamHack Cluj-Napoca and Time2Win invitational, out-earning Swede’s $3,000 cheque from his GIGACON second place finish.

While ML’s Hearthstone division will be no more and the current quartet will have to look for new organizations to join, ManaLight’s League of Legends team will continue to be operational.
