Remember that cool Warlock deck that had its fifteen minutes of fame during the TGT era? Well, it’s back.
A card with a curious design to say the least, [card]Dreadsteed[/card] captured the imagination of deckbuilders at the time of its release. Players like Savjz actively played it on stream, though the deck never became anything more than a fun build to pass the time and spice up your everyday Hearthstone life.
Now, British pro player and streamer Daniel “FalconePunch” Falcone from team Fade 2 Karma is bringing it back to the legend ladder. Adjustments to the old lists have been made of course, most notably with the inclusion of LoE’s [card]Dark Peddler[/card] as an early source of card draw. While the deck retains the end-game threats like [card]MalGanis[/card] and [card]Lord Jaraxxus[/card] as well as the powerful board clear in [card]Twisting Nether[/card], the build has been made more midrange-y overall as compared to Savjz’s pure control form. It runs two [card]Imp Gang Boss[/card] as threat generator for the mid game and is lighter on board clear, dropping the [card]Demonwrath[/card]s and [card]Shadowflame[/card]s altogether and only keeping the double [card]Hellfire[/card].
So, if you are in the mood for a fresh take on the Warlock after Zoo-grinding through the entire January season give this deck a shot. It will entertain you, if nothing else. For more competitive decks, check out our Hearthstone deck library.
